B. Site selection requirements for food safety inspection laboratory
1. Should choose a well-ventilated, well-lit place, and keep a certain distance from the production workshop;
2. Choose clean and quiet places, away from traffic, living quarters and boiler rooms;
3. Convenient sampling and inspection shall be selected and the workplace shall be close to the production workshop.
C. Configuration of food safety inspection laboratory
According to the actual requirements of production, the plant should be equipped with a comprehensive laboratory of bacteria and physical and chemical testing, which mainly includes the following three parts: office, physical and chemical laboratory and bacteria laboratory.
1. Office:Staff administration office area
2. Physical and chemical analysis laboratory:

(2) physical and chemical analysis room (also can be used as an inspection laboratory)
3. Bacteria laboratory:
(1) washing and disinfection room;
(2) sterile room;
(3) culture medium production room;
(4) bacteria inspection operation room;
D. Basic layout requirements of small food safety inspection laboratory

1. Wash and disinfect area:
This area requires relatively independent, preferably room spacing, because the area deals with waste, with certain pollution and humidity.
2. General operation area:
This is the main operating area, general and simple physical and chemical operations, operating microscope, microbial test results of observation, instruments and equipment operating area can be incorporated in the room or area.
3. Preparation area of culture medium:
For the preparation of medium, the area needs to be used frequently, so it should be designed relatively independently.
4. Sterile operating area:
This is a sterile room with high requirements. According to the experience of Shanghai Jingmei Laboratory Equipment Co.,Ltd., it should be designed as an independent region to avoid cross-contamination.
